Wayne A. Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Black Lion Entertainment Music Group (B.L.E.M.G.) has FINALLY released his 3rd Quarter Report for 2016 for the fast growing independent record label; but, it almost didn't happen..
HOME,....AGAIN
Although 2015 was definitely a highlight banner year for the young, small independent label from East New York, Brooklyn (total of 25 Music Award Nominations, winning a total of 13 for the year in only its 2nd year of operation), even B.L.E.M.G. was a victim of financial and unforeseen circumstances. With the business headquarters for B.L.E.M.G. and Wayne Management Company building being sold to a new owner, the new owners moved very quickly to remove all tenants from the location.
After a long, drawn out legal battle, Wayne Jones was forced to remove himself and the companies from East New York. After 5 months of temporarily operating in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, the new home for the companies was found, however, it was not new to Wayne. He took the businesses back to where it all began for him; the place where his own music career began; the place where his own business career began. Exactly 6 blocks from where he grew up in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. "I give the credit for this location to my step daughter, Reneasha Robinson. If it wasn't for her, this wouldn't have been possible.", said the CEO. "I'm now back at home. Now, I can go back and concentrate on making things happen."; which is exactly what he did.
CHANGING THE GAME,.....AGAIN
During the first half of 2016, B.L.E.M.G. was hit hard with the sudden departures of Giovanni, Blak Pearl and Blaze Billionz. It got even more difficult with the in house division between artists and executives. Not to mention the fallout after the delay of one of the artists' debut CD, it caused Wayne a great deal of discouragement; but not one to stay down, he began to make changes. He re-negotiated a consulting agreement with Blaze, which allowed him to continue to promote the artist and consult him on his new venture, thus, remaining a part of the Lion's Den of Talent.
He then began to once again, restructure the executive team:
New Chief Operating Officer
After launching and marketing the company's newest venture, Black Lion Entertainment and Sports Network, with Sportswire host Vinnie Vitti, Wayne started to make changes by first, coming back to take control of the label, after President Synthia "Blak Cheri" Robinson live performances alongside her producer, George Brown of George Brown Entertainment Music Group began to become in demand. Wayne appointed Gilbert Barnett, Jr, III, p/k/a Farrogoummo Madeoff from Executive Director of Urban content to Chief Operating Officer and Head of the Hip Hop Division of B.L.E.M.G. "I want to be clear, that Cassandra Jones was a great C.O.O., but like myself, is an entrepreneur in her own right with her brand Simply Ladies with Class Creations. This is not a demotion for her, she is now my Special Advisor."
Wayne has also stated that Farrogoummo will be the Executive Producer of the company's 3rd Mixtape, CONCRETE JUNGLE, which is looking to be released to the public in the 1st quarter of 2017. He still will be releasing his 5th mixtape AMERIKA ON DRUGZ during the 4th Quarter of 2016. Farrogoummo will also be performing live at The West End on October 14. His first performance in 9 months.
New Director of New Talent
After her run at The Voice, Sweet Tee has proven to have the skills and experience to attract new talent and assist Synthia Robinson in the development of the R&B division. "We're finally beginning to attract those from the Soul and R&B genres. I wanted to have a team together that will be able to develop that division to what I envisioned and to go above and beyond the standards already achieved because of the artists of B.L.E.M.G. It was easy to put them together not only because they work well together, but their friendship of over 30+ years is unbreakable."
New Divisions launched
Wayne has also expanded the B.L.E.M.G. brand by launching BLEMG Modeling. This new division will be headed by Traci Rivers, who is an accomplished model in her own right. Wayne has already signed their first client. His Granddaughter, Aaliyah Overby, who was just chosen to walk in the Brooklyn Fashion Week and has now began to prepare for the 2017 Miss Teen Universe Pageant.
Wayne has also, FINALLY, launched his much anticipated Gospel/Inspiration Division. "This division is going to be one of three crown jewels for this company. It is my promise to God, after he saved me from certain death." Wayne has tapped Mr. Robert Terry p/k/a POET - Just Robert as the new Director and A&R for this division.
FINALLY!!!
After a number of delays and a few obstacles, not to mention a few publishing issues, B.L.E.M.G. finally was able to release its debut studio release with their artist, Julia with her debut release, BABY YOU GOT IT.
Originally scheduled to be released on Valentine's Day 2016, the R&B songstress decided to release her debut work on Wayne Jones' 51st birthday. Through the direction of President, Synthia Robinson, Julia is in heavy rotation in France and Russia FM Radio Stations. She remains a constant fixture on 2 Loco Radio in Memphis, TN and has begun to catch the attention of various college and internet radio stations in the United States.

CONCLUSION
They've been laughed at, ridiculed, stepped on and talked about. However, the management team of both B.L.E.M.G. as well as its owner, Wayne Management Company, has come through it with some scars, but still going strong and still building. "This is my dream. I asked God for a business, and now He's given me 2. I thank God for the opportunity and with His guidance and help, just wait and see what's in store for Black Lion Entertainment Music Group", says CEO, Wayne Jones.
